Farmer Food Thursday: Banana Cream Pound Cake

For Easter I decided to make a really delicious dessert that I've made once before...Banana Cream Pound Cake. 

This is one of my favorite desserts to make...and let's be honest...to eat. 

It kind of reminds me of that vanilla pudding and vanilla wafer dessert, if any of you have ever eaten that. 

I found this recipe in the Taste of Home magazine, and of course their pictures look amazing.

Let's also be honest and say that when recreating these recipes we all find online, they never, EVER, look the same in real life. Case in point:
