Baggage Claim

When I flew out of the airport for Seattle last week, it was definitely a new experience for me. The airport was TINY. Like, there's probably only 30 parking spaces in the parking lot, and you don't have to pay for parking. We walk in, check in, wait for 30 minutes. The check-in lady is apparently also the security lady. We go through the security line to a new waiting room...which was only separated from the first waiting area outside of security by a rope. Yep! We're high tech here!

You'll get a kick out of this next part...on our way home when we landed we go to get our baggage (which they lost so it didn't really matter). I said, "Where's the carousel?" My coworker was like, "There isn't one. This is where they give you the luggage." She pointed to this:

The guy in the back in the plaid shirt literally carries the suitcases off of the plane, rolls them over to this metal counter and places them there to be picked up. Yep, here's our baggage claim! I was laughing so hard! But I'm glad I had this to laugh at, because shortly after I took this picture there was no more luggage placed on the counter and we realized none of us had our bags :( Oh well, it still made for a fun small-town story!
