Winterizing the sprayer

This is what we did this weekend...well part of it anyways. Basically we park our sprayer in a field and let it sit there for the winter. We don't have a massive storage facility for all of our equipment, so for now it sits in a field. The sprayer is what we use to spray weed killer and fertilizer in all of our fields. I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Here is the sprayer:

We had to get all of the liquid out of the pipes and tubes so they don't freeze and burst this winter.

Here you can see it draining...it's like watching MONEY just fall into the ground to waste. Seriously, this shit is EXPENSIVE:

There were a total of about 16 valves we had to empty, all up and down each wing of the sprayer:

And here, my faithful pups watch. Harley is probably thinking about when he's getting his next treat. Smoke has his Sonar ear up and listening.
