Happy Birthday to My Main Man

Today is a GREAT day to celebrate a birthday! It's Patrick's birthday today, and he's celebrating the big 28! Getting inspiration from Kelly, I decided to do a post about 28 things I've learned about him in our 5+ years together.

1. If you ever want to know what kind of mood he's in, listen to the music he's listening to at the moment.

2. He loves agriculture SO much, and it's a part of who he is as a person, inside and out.

3. He goes to sleep with the TV on, and it stays on all night.

4. He can eat fruit snacks, gushers and rice krispie treats like they're going out of style.

5. He wears exactly 3 brands of jeans: Wrangler, Cinch and Carhartt.

6. He loves his fur babies like they are his own flesh and blood

7. He's an only child, but he treats his cousins like siblings, in that he'll do anything for them.

8. He is very ambitious and knows that he can accomplish anything he sets his mind to.

9. He's a meat and potatoes guy.

10. He is a Green Bay Packers fan, through and through.

11. He loooooooves his toys

12. He's not afraid to be silly in front of me.

13. He can sing pretty much every song known to man...from Pantera, to Hank Williams Jr. to Frank Sinatra. I kid you not.

14. He only requires about 4-6 hours of sleep per night to fully function.

15. When we got married, he accepted all of my family-aunts, uncles, cousins, second cousins, grandparents included-and loves them as much as I do.

16. He's a better cook than he leads me to believe...mostly because he would prefer that I cook most of the time.

17. Everything we own is always for sale...for the right price.

18. He LOVES NASCAR

19. He hates lip gloss/chapstick/lip stick, and will NOT kiss me when I'm wearing it.

20. He loves beer and whiskey. But that's it for alcoholic beverages.

21. He's constantly moving-if he's not working working, he's out on the farm, in the yard, on the computer doing paperwork, or anything else that's productive. Rarely does he just sit and do nothing.

22. He has nicknames for almost all of his friends. (then again, most guys do, right?)

23. When he buys a pickup, he doesn't just leave it "as is." He will add door handles, running boards, tires, wheels, grill guards, spray-in bedliners, sound systems, ball hitches, new floor mats, you name it.

24. In college he drove a pickup that you could hear coming from about 2 miles away. NOT joking. The pickup's name was White Lightning. He once showed up in this truck at my sorority house only wearing a cowboy hat. HA! Hellloooo Tweeder from Varsity Blues!

25. He has traveled to a LOT of places in the U.S....probably about half of the states.

26. He hates it when I wear his clothes. Especially his sweatshirts.

27. He LOOOOVES to drive, and would rather drive somewhere than fly. A couple thousand miles away? No problem!

28. He loves me
