Just when we were thawing out, snow was melting, and getting all muddy outside....
This is my driveway and front yard. YUCK.
And we all know when it warms up, the rednecks come out to play...
You know you're a redneck if you use your farm equipment to plow snow off of your firepit and start a fire in the middle of a snowbank, on a Saturday afternoon.
Just when we were getting used to the nicer weather, mother nature decided to play a mean trick on us...
And dump about a foot of snow! Some places there is a foot, but there were drifts that were about 6-8 feet deep. Yikes! We usually get a couple of the spring storms like this, so it's not unusual. But now we start the snow melt all over again! And it's going to be an even worse muddy, yucky mess!
Happy Wednesday friends!

Thanks for the bigger pictures! I can see them much better now! :o)
ReplyDeleteYou seriously look like you're living in the arctic tundra. Take away the fence and the pole, and I'd think you were trekking to the north pole or something!
I so would be in that picture with my bogs on and in my pink camping chair watching them play with fire! haha!
ReplyDeleteOh dear. Mud season was always my least favourite! The snow looks so beautiful though!
ReplyDeleteI too love the photos! Especially the photo of the guys at the fire pit!
ReplyDeleteI love that you are rednecking it up with the fire pit and lawn chairs after clearing the snow! Reminds me of the good ole' college days in Gunnison where every "spring" this is exactly what we would do as soon as the mercury crept above freezing! Fun times!
ReplyDeleteHooooooly that's some mud and snow!! I prefer the summertime :)
ReplyDeleteHaha. Love the redneck pic!! We have had some moody weather too, but no snow. Just humidity, wind, and cold weather. Yay!
